The Dodgers will hold a press conference Wednesday at Dodger Stadium to announce a contract extension through the 2008 season for Hall of Fame broadcasting icon Vin Scully.

Scully, 78, is entering his 57th season as voice of the Dodgers, the longest tenure of any current sports broadcaster with one team. His current contract was to expire at the end of the 2006 season.
